Abstract: This dissertation explores the features of critical reception in Abbasid poetry through a comparative analysis of Abu Nuwas and Abu Al-Atahiyah, within a dual framework combining religious standards and aesthetic criteria. The study begins by affirming the early presence of the concept of reception in Arabic criticism, despite  the  absence  of  independent  theorization,  emphasizing  the  distinction between  passive  reception (submission  to  the  text)  and  active  reception (participation in the production of meaning.)It highlights the impact of Arabic rhetoric on shaping reception, where concepts like clarity and appropriateness cemented the role of the submissive reader, while early critics such as Al-Jurjani and Ibn Rashiq hinted at interpretive plurality. The study compares this heritage with the foundations of Reception Aesthetics (Jauss, Iser), which center the reader as a co-creator of the literary experience.&#xD;
The  dissertation  analyzes  the  reception  of  Abu  Nuwas’s  poetry  within  a civilizational and social transformation, where wine becomes a symbol of rebellion and femininity appears as a conflicted metaphor. His poetry reflects inner tensions between pleasure and remorse, especially in the poem “Daʿ ʿanka Lawmi”. In contrast, Abu Al-Atahiyah’s poetic journey moves from frivolity to asceticism, revealing a deep philosophical vision of mortality and a social critique rooted in a call for reform.&#xD;
The study concludes that critical responses to Abu Al-Atahiyah ranged from praise to disdain, yet his poetry resonated emotionally and intellectually with the general public. Ultimately, the dissertation affirms a convergence between classical Arabic criticism and modern reception theory, arguing that differing historical contexts do not negate the presence of shared theoretical seeds.</summary>

Abstract: نهدف من خلال هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز مظاهر التناص التراثي في رواية "علي بابا والأربعون حبيبة" لعز الدين جلاوجي، والكشف عن أبعاده الفنية والجمالية والدلالية، وذلك انطلاقًا من إشكالية رئيسة مفادها: كيف ساهم التناص التراثي في تشكيل البنية السردية والمعرفية للرواية؟ وتتجلى أهمية البحث في ربطه بين الموروث الثقافي العربي وأساليب الكتابة الروائية الجزائرية المعاصرة، خاصة في ظل ندرة الدراسات التي عالجت هذا الموضوع، وقد اعتمدنا المنهج السيميائي أساسا في تحليل النص وتفكيك رموزه، مع الاستعانة بالمنهجين التداولي والأسلوبي كآليتين مساعدتين لقراءة الحوارات الداخلية والانزياحات الفنية. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن "جلاوجي" استطاع عبر التناص الديني والأدبي والثقافي والأسطوري أن يزاوج بين التراث والمعاصرة، ويوظف الماضي في خدمة الحاضر واستشراف المستقبل، مما منح الرواية أبعادًا جمالية ورمزية عميقة، ورسّخ مكانة التناص التراثي كآلية إبداعية فاعلة في الأدب الجزائري المعاصر.&#xD;

Abstract:&#xD;
     We aim through this study to highlight the manifestations of intertextuality with heritage in Ali Baba and the Forty Lovers by Ezzedine Djlaoudji, and to explore its artistic, aesthetic, and semantic dimensions. The central research question can be formulated as follows: How did intertextuality with heritage contribute to shaping the narrative and epistemological structure of the novel? The importance of this research lies in its attempt to bridge the gap between Arab cultural heritage and the techniques of contemporary Algerian fiction, especially in light of the scarcity of studies addressing this topic. The study adopts semiotics as its main methodological framework to analyze and deconstruct the text’s symbols, while drawing on pragmatics and stylistics as complementary approaches to examine dialogic structures and stylistic deviations. The findings reveal that Djlaoudji successfully employed religious, literary, cultural, and mythical intertexts to interweave tradition and modernity, thereby using the past in the service of the present and the anticipation of the future. This endowed the novel with profound symbolic and aesthetic dimensions and confirmed intertextuality with heritage as a powerful creative tool in contemporary Algerian literature</summary>

Abstract: شغل الخطاب القرآني في الدراسات العربية القديمة والحديثة حيزا كبيراً من الاهتمام والعناية، حيث كان لابد من فهم مقاصد وأهداف هذا الخطاب فهما صحيحا، وإدراك لمعانيه.ولكن هذا لا يتأتـى هذا إلا بآليات ووسائل ضرورية لابد للباحث من توظيفها والإحاطة بها،وأن يكون ملماً بأساسياتها، كي لا يزيغَ ويحيدَ تفكيره عن الفهم الصحيح له.&#xD;
ومن أهم تلك الآليات:"الإشاريات"بأنواعها المشتهرة؛ المكانية والزمانية والاجتماعية والشخصية ،والتي كانت بارزة في القرآن الكريم، وتسليط الضوء  على جانب من أنواعها؛ وهي الضمائر، والتي من أهمها:الضمير الغائب العائد على الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم في الربع الأخير من الخطاب القرآني، وإبراز وظائفه ودلالاته اللغوية،وما احتواه من معاني بلاغية ، تبرز قيمة الخطاب التداولي في الدراسات المعاصرة.    &#xD;

The Quranic discourse in ancient and modern Arabic studies occupied a great deal of attention and care, as it was necessary to properly understand the purposes and objectives of this discourse, and to understand its meanings. In order not to deviate and deviate his thinking from the correct understanding of it.&#xD;
Among the most important of these mechanisms are: the well-known “signals” of all kinds; Spatial, temporal, social and personal, which were prominent in the Holy Qur’an, highlighting an aspect of their types; These are the pronouns, the most important of which are: the absent pronoun belonging to the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the last quarter of the Qur’anic discourse, highlighting its functions and linguistic connotations, and the rhetorical meanings it contains, highlighting the value of the deliberative discourse in contemporary studies.</summary>

    <summary type="text">Title: Investigating the Relationship between Socio-Cultural Factors and Students’ Reluctance to Speak during Oral Sessions The Case of First Year EFL Students at the University of Ghardaia

Abstract: This study seeks to investigate the relationship between the social and cultural factors and students’ reluctance to speak during oral sessions, to find out whether these factors hinder or stimulate the process of developing students’ speaking and participation skills during oral class sessions. It also aims to provide a deeper and clearer understanding of the concept of social factors which include: society, family, peers, socioeconomic status, and gender differences, in addition to cultural factors that include: religion and beliefs, values, and customs and delve into the theoretical framework that encompasses these concepts. Mixed methods approach was used to collect the data required to investigate this study, including first an observation of EFL First Year students’ participation and interaction during oral sessions at the Department of English at the University of Ghardaia. An online interview was conducted with four professors with previous and current experience in teaching the Oral module. Finally, a questionnaire directed to a group of first-year EFL students was administered to get their insights and viewpoints about the influence of socio-cultural factorson their reluctance to speak. The study concludes with a set  of  strategies,  suggestions, and recommendations as solutions to be implemented by educators for a future inclusive educational environment for EFL students.&#xD;
