The first of the study was to verify the microbiological quality of terfezia species harvested from Ghardaia. However, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the subject was changed and the new aim was to review Terfezia fanfani mycelial culture, realized by Dafri (2017) during the studying of northeastern Algerian desert truffles. After the morphological and bimolecular identification of the species, the in vitro culture has been carried out on MMN medium. The culture has been realized using some little pieces from the gleba and the fungal mycelia has grown about two to three months after their incubation at more than 30 °C. The formed mycelia extended on a diameter of 2 cm around the primer cultivated pieces, and their color was quite similar to the colour of matured Terfezia fanfani gleba.EN_en
