dc.description.abstract This case study investigated the role of tourism in developing English language skills, focusing primarily on a group of tourist guides and merchants who actively engage with tourists. Data was gathered through a questionnaire administered to 30 merchants and tourist guides, containing 17 questions. The findings provided valuable insights into the influence of tourism activities on English language development among locals, highlighting the positive impacts of these interactions. The study emphasizes how tourism offers valuable opportunities for learning a second language by integrating practical experiences in the field. Relevant theoretical frameworks were used to comprehensively examine this relationship. EN_en
