The research Is based on a central question concerning the extent to which this colonial agreement contributed to the reconfiguration of the border space, and how the ambiguity of certain provisions, particularly in the southern and Saharan regions, became a source of persistent tension between both parties. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical approach by tracing the evolution of this issue through three main historical phases. It concludes that the Treaty of Lalla Maghnia was not merely a border delimitation document, but a pivotal stage in the formation of the border dispute between the two countries, generating legal and political divergences in the interpretation of boundary lines. It also finds that the divergence of legal and political frameworks in the post-independence period contributed to the outbreak of the first direct military confrontation between the two states in 1963, making the border issue one of the main factors behind bilateral tensions and the obstruction of regional integration in the Maghreb.اتفاقية لالة مغنية؛ الحدود الجزائرية المغربية؛ معركة إيسلي؛ حرب الرمال؛ الاستعمار الفرنسي؛ العلاقات السياسية.Lalla Maghnia TreatyAlgerian–Moroccan bordersBattle of IslySand WarFrench colonialismpolitical relations.اتفاقية لالة مغنية و أثرها في العلاقت الجزائرية المغربية (1963/1844مـ)Thesis
