The Islamic Maghreb countries in general, since their inception,
have been establishing a scientific movement, and the role of the
Islamic Maghreb carried the nucleus of a scientific renaissance.
During the period of the rule of the Zayan state, the Middle Maghreb
witnessed a cultural and scientific development, especially after it
overcame it's periods of weakness, whether politically or socially.
Tlemcen witnessed a civil and scientific development with the
scientific movement, through which educational institution were
established. As a result, mosques, schools, libraries and religious
corners appeared. The emergence of scientific who had an active
participation in the scientific contribution to the region and the
emergence of various sciences such as mental and transportation
