Bilateral relations between the two Tunisian and Algerian
countries differed between the 17th and 18th centuries. and
this is due to the emergence of the two nations as an effective
political force in the Mediterranean space, After determining
the area between them in 1628, Algeria has on more than one
occasion been able to demonstrate its existence in Tunisia,
politically and militarily, in various forms, either directly or
indirectly. Tunisia has also launched a military campaign to
formally impose its presence. Not only that, its presence has
exceeded other areas, Tunisia has been a market for Algerian
products, especially livestock. in addition to the great
privileges of the rulers of Algeria, the social aspect had a share
s social fabric with the inhabitants of the region. |
