Study summary:
This study aimed to reveal the nature of the relationship
between social networking sites and academic achievement
among students who are going to obtain an intermediate
education certificate And an attempt to identify the differences
between the degrees of addiction to social networking sites and
academic achievement according to the gender variable, and the
study was limited to a sample of fourth year average students in
the municipality of Hassi El Fahal (Ghardaia). Where the study
sample members consisted of (94) male and female students
(40) males and (54) females, and to achieve the purposes of the
study, the scale of social networking sites was applied by Laila
Burwais, Roqaya Burwais (2018).
We also relied on the degrees of academic achievement
according to the average of each student separately, and after
processing the data statistically, the results of the study resulted
in:
1- There is a statistically significant relationship between social
networking sites and the academic achievement of the study
sample members.
2- There are no statistically significant differences in the scale of
social networking sites due to the gender variable.
3- There are statistically significant differences in academic
achievement due to the gender variable. |
