Représentations, Alternance codique et acquisition du FLE chez les étudiants de l’université de Ghardaïa

Abstract

Dans la présente étude, nous nous intéressons aux représentations des deux langues étrangères français, anglais et leur alternance comme pratique langagière à laquelle des étudiants de Français de l’université de Ghardaïa font recours dans le cadre de leur apprentissage du FLE. Pour connaitre ces représentations et leur impact sur l’apprentissage du FLE d’un côté, et celles liées à l’alternance codique et ses fonctions d’un autre côté, nous nous sommes appuyés sur un questionnaire destiné aux étudiants de la troisième année licence et un entretien semi-directif auprès des enseignants du département de français. Ainsi, les étudiants trouvent que l’anglais est une langue non seulement facile à apprendre mais aussi une langue de communication mondiale. Et que le français est une langue à la fois difficile à apprendre et ils la considèrent comme langue de savoir et de prestige. Quant à l’alternance entre les deux codes c’est pour eux une manière pour se distinguer et pour soulever les difficultés langagières rencontrées en parlant en français. Concernant les fonctions de cette alternance, nous avons constaté que les étudiants font recours à l’anglais pour surmonter les difficultés langagières notamment lexicales inhérentes à la langue française. In this study, we are interested in the representations of the two foreign languages French and English and their alternation as a language practice to which French students from the University of Ghardaia make use as part of their learning of FFL. To know these representations and their impact on the learning of the FFL on the one hand, and those related to the codeswitching and its functions on the other hand, we relied on a questionnaire for third-year undergraduate students and a semi-interviewto the teachers of the French department. Thus, students find that English is not only an easy language to learn but also a language of global communication. And that French is a language that is both difficult to learn and they consider it as a language of knowledge and prestige. As for the alternation between the two codes it is for them a way to distinguish themselves and to raise the language difficulties encountered while speaking in French. Regarding the functions of this alternation, we found that students use English to overcome the language difficulties, particularly lexical ones, inherent in the French language. في هذه الدراس نحن مهتمون بمعرفة تمثيلات اللغتين الاجنبيتين الإنجليزية والفرسية والتناوب بينهما لدى طلاب جامعة غرداية ومدى تأثير هاته التمثيلات في تعلم اللغة الفرنسية كلغة اجنبية من ناحية وتلك المتعلقة بالتناوب اللغوي ووظائفه من ناحية أخرى. اعتمدنا على استبيان لطلاب السنة الثالثة ليسانس م مقابلة مدارة نسبياً مع أستاذة قسم الفرنسية. وبالتالي، يجد الطلاب ان اللغة الإنجليزية ليست لغة سهلت التعلم فحسب لكن تعتبر لغة تواصل عالمية أيضا، وفما يخص اللغة الفرنسية فهي بالنسبة لهم لغة يصعب تعلمها، كما تضفر بمكانة جيدة لدى الطلاب حيث يصفونها بلغة المعرفة ولغة الطبقة المرموقة من المجتمع. اما بالنسبة الى التناوب اللغوي بين اللغتين، فهو بالنسبة لهم وسيلة للتميز ووسيلة لتجاوز الصعوبات التي يوجهونها عند تعلم اللغة الفرنسية. فيما يتعلق بوظائف هذا التناوب، وجدنا ان الطلاب يستخدمون اللغة الانجليزية للتغلب على الصعوبات اللغوية وخاصة الصعوبات المعجمية للغة الفرنسية.
