Abstract:
This study deals with the introduction and realisation of explaining the Book of Baiha poem in
the rulings,imperfections and intercessionof Abdullah ben Umar ibnZiyad al-Omani for Sheikh
Yahya bin Saleh al-Afdali al-Musabi al-Yazganni (12 century).The importance of this book is
reflected in the only explanation of this poem.As it deals with a crucial section in jurisprudence
which is Fiqh.
In our study, we have relied on three written copies: a copy of the Al-Fadl clan's cabinet, a copy
of the author's handwriting, the original version that I adoptedit, under N°: (Index: 949, Treasury:
B 118). And the second copy is the copy of Haj Saleh Ali library’s written by Sulaiman ben
Mohammed ben Idrisoaunder N°: (Index: 0436, Treasury:DG4). The third copy is: Sheikh
Mohammed ben Sulayman ben Idrisoalibrary’swhich is considered an incomplete version, but it
is an elected issue of the book, placed within the total, they are under N°:(Index: 116, Treasury:
A 72).
In this book, Al-Afdali distinguished the accuracy and abbreviation of information. Also,the
linguistic aspect was a prominent presence in it.So,the purpose of this book was to explain the
meaning of this poem to the students so that they can easily memorize it.
This book deals with several issues like: the introduction to the request for knowledge and urging
it, issues in the proceedings and evidence, as well as the ethics of the judge and his conditions,
and questions aboutShahada, recognition, flaws andintercession
I divided the research into two parts: the first section made it in two chapters in which I
talkedabout the life of the author, the age and his scientific effects.The Second chapter: I studied
it about the poem Ba'at Abdullah ibn Umar ibnZiyad and the book explaining the Baiha of
Sheikh Yahya ben Saleh Al-Afdali. I talked about the title of the book, the verity ofauthor’s and
the reason for writing the book. Practically, through this study.
The second section was about checkingthe book that followed by the scientific rules in the
realization of the heritage.This was followed by a conclusion to the main findings and
recommendations that I have achieved which I have addressed to those working in the field of
heritage service.
