Islam came with its tolerant provisions of its sharia and its nobel teachings
that achieve social solidarity in its best form, one form is caring for orphans and
fulfilling guardianship for them and their financial matters, providing charity and
preserving their rights.
My thesis is entitled Laws of Orphans in the Holy Qur’an, a jurisprudential
exegesis study, in which I talked about the definition of orphans, along with the
difference between an orphan and a foundling, and mentioning verses from the
Holy Qur’an, that shed light on orphans, about caring for them and the prohibition
of hurting them, as well as the explicit commands to honor them, and to establish
their interests with justice, and about their share in the plunder, how to treat them
with kindness, and how should their custodians preserve their money along with
the methods of paying it to them, and the laws of marriage for female orphans.
