Ibn Hamad ,full name ,Abu Abd allah Mohamed ben Ali ben
Hamad ben Aissa ben Abi Bakar Alsanhadji born in 297 M /564 AD
was famous of his book of « Akhbar Molouk bani Abid wa siratihim »
It is considered as the primary resource for the Ubaydian call period
‘fatimide’ in Morocco before transmitting it to Egypt .
It contains important information about the spread of the call and
how the way was paved for Abaid Alalh Almahdi to rule and specially
the events of the Abi Yazid Mokhlad ben Kidad’s where most of the
historian took from him like :Ibn Khaldoun in his book « hada mima
yazid fi kimati » in addition to ather issues.
Ibn Hamad kept the historic narration taken from its original
resources in addition to his accuracy in setting the dates.
He devided his book to chapters ,each chapter was for a specific
ruler Fatemi , and he mentioned his important achievement and all the
information which was available for him .He couldn’t get information
about some of the rulers especially the one of the Egyptian period of
the state Fatimid and where he mentioned just thier names.
