Abstract:
There is no doubt that Andalusia is a civilized center in which the
translation movement appeared, which was the main engine of the
European renaissance. Andalusia opened its scientific doors from
centers and institutes to all students of science and knowledge from all
European countries in all art and science. The Toledo School was the
main engine of the intellectual movement and a center for sciences to
all parts of Europe, thanks to the Caliphs' encouragement of scholars
and their support for the translation movement, which made Andalusia
the most important legacy that Europeans took. Where a group of
translators appeared who took upon themselves the transfer of the
Arab heritage to Europe, and the translation reached its peak during
the reign of Alfonso X, a lover of science and scholars who
established the Toledo School.
