This study aimed to identify the persuasive methods of content makers in
social networking sites, through an analytical study of the Abu Fallah channel
via the YouTube social network,
The study started from a main question that is, what are the most
important persuasive methods that content creator Abu Falla employed through
the YouTube social networking site?
In our descriptive analytical study, we relied on the content analysis
method, the observation tool, and the content analysis form to collect data, and it
was applied to a sample of Abu Fella channel’s 12 episodes, and we reached the
most important results:
-Most of the topics in which Abu Falla used persuasive methods were
entertainment topics, then each of the human and social topics, and this is due to
the nature of the YouTube channel.
-The most prominent goals that Abu Falla seeks through his channel to
attract and attract followers for entertainment and entertainment.
-Abu Falla focused on instilling a set of values, the most important of
which is the development of the spirit of brotherhood, motivation and
encouragement to instill will and determination in followers, in addition to
instilling the values of cooperation and helping the needy.
- Abu Fella relied on emotional appeals more by focusing on the
followers' emotions and their orientations by sharpening their determination and
stirring their emotions. Using several persuasive means, the most important of
which are body language, gifts and temptations, and to a lesser extent, mental
solicitation through the use of proofs, arguments, Quranic evidence and
prophetic hadiths.
- Abu Fella relied on the Kuwaiti dialect to broadcast his content and
convince his followers.
