Etude narratologique du temps dans Demain De Guillaume Musso

Abstract

Dans Demain se déroule une histoire entre Emma et Matthew, deux personnages qui se communiquent à travers un ordinateur d’occasion relient différents points temporelle. En nous appuyant sur l’approche narratologique de Gérard Genette, nous analysons comment la coexistence du temps réel et fictif crée une dynamique narrative, influençant le développement des personnages et la perception du destin. L’étude de la fonction narrative, portant sur les relations entre l’histoire, le récit et la narration, ainsi que sur les techniques narratives utilisées dans les textes, met en évidence que le temps constitue un moteur essentiel de la narration et un outil structurant du destin des personnages. Les mots clés : Abstract: This study analyzes the representation of time in Guillaume Musso’s novel Tomorrow, which centres on the characters Emma and Matthew, who communicate through a second-hand computer across different points in time. Based on Gerard Genette’s narratological theory, the research examines how the coexistence of real and fictional time creates a dynamic narrative that shapes character development and influences the perception of fate. By analyzing the narrative fuctions-the relationship between story, discourse, and narration-as well as the narrative techniques such as flashbacks and foreshadowing, this study highlights that time serves as a fundamental driving force within the structure of the narrative and in the unfolding oh the characters’ destinies. Keywords: ملخص: في هذا البحث، نُجري تحليلًا سرديًا للزمن في رواية "غدًا" للكاتب غيوم موسو، التي تدور أحداثها حول شخصيتي إيما وماثيو، اللتين تتواصلان عبر حاسوب عبر نقاط زمنية مختلفة. بالاعتماد على نظرية جيرار جينيت، تستكشف الدراسة استخدام الكاتب للتلاعب بالزمن لخلق تأثير درامي وخيالي من خلال تحليل زمن القصة، وزمن السرد، وزمن الخطاب. تُسلّط هذه الدراسة الضوء على استخدام تقنيات السرد مثل الاستباق (التنبؤ) والارتجاع، وتبحث في العلاقة بين المكان والزمان في النصوص الأدبية، وتأثيرهما على الأحداث وسيطرتهما على مصير الشخصيات ومستقبلها،. ويخلص هذا البحث إلى أن زمن السرد هو العنصر المركزي في سرد رواية "غدًا"
