Theoretical and Conceptual Foundation: To establish a comprehensive theoretical and scientific foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) techniques, and to understand the mechanisms of spatial data acquisition and processing pertinent to ecosystems and natural resources. Adaptation to Technological Advancements (Geo-AI): To integrate Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (Geo-AI) concepts and techniques into analytical methodologies, enabling students to assimilate the fundamentals of massive environmental data (Big Data) processing and to construct intelligent predictive models.  Development of Methodological and Analytical Skills: To acquire spatial thinking skills and the critical capacity to employ these integrated techniques for extrapolating environmental phenomena, assessing risks (such as environmental degradation and climate change), and monitoring spatio-temporal changes.  Support for Scientific Research and Decision-Making: To qualify students in the effective and scientifically rigorous use of advanced geospatial tools for their future academic research and theses, and to design precise environmental studies contributing to the development of Decision Support Systems (DSS) to achieve sustainability.
