Abstract:
Our study shows whether there is a relationship between family function and
the appearance of abusive behavior in the abused man. We have addressed the
questions, the part is:
1. What is the family function of a battered man?
2. How does the violent behavior of the abused man appear?
Then we tried to answer these hypotheses according to their formulation:
The main hypothesis: the family function and the aggressive behavior of the
abused man
The first hypothesis: the abused man shows a defect in the family function,
which is evident from through the style of emotional deprivation, cruelty and
humiliation
The second hypothesis: the abused man shows a high degree of aggression
behavior, which is evident in aggression towards himself or towards others
through degrading and belittling himself or harming himself physically. As for
ه
others, it is through beating and physical or material aggression or bullying and
insult
In our study, we relied on the clinical approach in order to find out the
relationship in the family, as well as on the study tools, namely the interview, as
well as the aggressive behavior scale: Arnold Bus and Mark Perry in 1992, and
it was adapted into the family environment by Yahiya Qasi in 2001, and the
family function scale. The study sample included a case of a man who was
exposed to.
